Welcome! I’m thrilled to introduce my second advanced online cookie class. If you’re ready to take your cookie decorating skills to the next level, you’re in the right place. I chose a space/cosmic theme, because in the 5 years I have decorated cookies, it is still such a popular theme. I think I’ve done over a dozen space themed orders! I hope that you can use many of these designs in your orders as well, and I cannot wait to see your creations!
Please note that my sugar cookie recipe and royal icing recipe are NOT included in this class. Rather than price the class higher for including my recipes, I chose to make it more affordable just in case you already have a recipe that you love. You are always welcome to purchase my recipes separately at hanamadecookies.com, or use your own favorite cookie recipe.
For this class, we will be decorating all basic shaped cookies to keep it simple and to show that you don’t need fancy cookie cutters to make beautiful cookies! We will cover a variety of techniques that are appropriate for decorators at all skill levels.
This class includes a step-by-step guide for all 6 cookies, a piping practice sheet, and 6 videos (located in the Facebook group). Once you are admitted into the Facebook group, you can watch the tutorials at any time and move at your own pace. The videos will cover how to:
draw with edible marker
pipe, peel, and attach royal icing transfers (without breaking them!)
achieve a space/cosmic background
achieve different textures to add dimension to your cookie

balance a design on a cookie
